Your smile is your most prominent facial feature and many people go through leaps and bounds to keep it vibrant and healthy. To help with this, there is a plethora of over-the-counter treatments and dental procedures. Among popular and highly effective treatments is the Zoom teeth whitening. Zoom lightens discoloration of enamel and dentin by bleaching teeth with a gel and light treatment. Patients emerged from Zoom tooth whitening with not only an improved appearance, but also increased self-esteem and confidence.
Zoom tooth whitening begins with a short preparation to cover your lips and gums, leaving only your teeth exposed. The Zoom Whitening Gel is then applied by a highly skilled dentist, after which the Zoom light is activated. Discoloration on your teeth are broken up by the gel and light combination that work together to gently penetrate stains. While this is happening, you sit back and relax. Their special dentist chairs are designed with your utmost comfort in mind. What’s more is that there’s an LCD TV on the ceiling so you can pop in a DVD while you’re undergoing the treatment. All in all it takes only 45 minutes which is broken up into 3, 15 minute sessions.
The TV show Extreme Makeover, used this process a number of times and you may have seen it there. It is advisable that you have a general cleaning before undergoing the whitening procedure which takes just about an hour. Your teeth will always be lighter than they were before the instant you try Zoom. There is a slight exception for regular coffee or tea drinkers and smokers though. Those who continue drinking coffee/tea and smoke will most likely develop the stains on the teeth again. Whitening treatments can be quite expensive so give it some thought.
